Today I'm reviewing Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic. Ok, let's start off with a disclaimer: the author of this book was in the middle of some anime discourse after breaking some rules and also being a general douchebag. SO I want to clarify I do not condone his behavior or praise him in any way, BUT I loved the book and so many other amazing people put genuine effort into this work that I want to review it anyways.

Now the story behind the book is genuinely very interesting — it was a YouTube series before they condensed the rest of the series into a book so we could continue enjoying the storyline. AND the audiobook brings back all the original voice actors, which is PERFECT.

I haven't bought the audiobook yet. I have suggested it to my library, but we got the PHYSICAL BOOK — thanks Albion fam for lending it to me!

This book is a work of art, genuinely. It holds so many facets of beauty: the art within the pages, the delicate tone to the writing, and the beautiful storyline with wonderfully goofy characters.

I am doing my best not to divulge into a speech about my love for Giovanni Potage, so here's a description of the book. If you like it, you can buy it online, physical or audio, and you can try to check it out of your local library too!

In this world, a lucky few are born with special powers based on a single word. That word is called an "EPITHET". Each epithet is linked to the user's soul, and no two people have the same one. By tapping into their word, epithet users-the INSCRIBED-can do amazing things that ordinary people-MUNDIES-could only dream of!After a long week of dealing with criminals, wizards, and panic attacks, 12-year-old MOLLY BLYNDEFF returns home to the toy store her family owns and operates for some much-needed rest. Unfortunately, her superpowered older sister, LORELAI, has other plans in mind. After a nasty argument, Molly and her friends end up trapped in a world created by Lorelai's epithet, "Augment". Now they must travel through her wonderland in order to confront Molly's sister, and the only weapon they have at their disposal is Molly's considerably less intimidating epithet... "Dumb". The road is fraught with danger, with everything from ogres to spelling tests standing in their way... but the thing both sisters are most afraid of is the idea that they might never be close again.Prison of Plastic is the official continuation of the beloved web-animated series Epithet Erased, which can be streamed in its entirety on YouTube and VRV. This sequel is the story of two sisters in a broken home struggling with their magical powers, themselves, and each other.

Loudeboy Juniors Closet

I decided I will be calling my outfit speculations Juniors Closet. Maybe it will inspire some of your next outfits.

Clothes

Ok, so this closet is all about this style I saw online that I like to call 10-year-old homeless skater boy. Now, I like the pockets; I think having that kind of inventory space is essential, BUT if you know me IRL, you know I BARELY show my legs. I think I've worn shorts to school twice in the last 4 years. Being exposed like that makes me think of my imaginary friend who was a nun and told me if I wore short socks, I was a harlet and wouldn’t go to heaven. I think I’ll try some experimentation with this at some point. I enjoy the laid-back masculinity with refined and paired accessorizing. This outfit also usually pairs with nice shoes, usually longer-tied shoes, most with thicker bases. I think if you enjoy the relaxed but pointed look, this would be excellent for you.

Closing Statement

So I was hit hard recently, from alot of different directions and it changed alot of my views on my world. My play Witches on the Block was censored, we were asked to remove the queer couple I wrote in. I was devastated, not just because this was a assault to my art, to my community, or to me as a person. I was devastated because this movement by the school showed me the schools true views on me. To this school I am a freak, a disgusting vile kink they don't want on stage. this showed me that even through all my achievements all my awards all the effort i put into every brick of that school, i was not someone that they could be proud to show, the way i loved was shameful.
